The goal of our swim lessons is to help children develop water safety and confidence while also learning basic stokes, floating, technique, and fun in the water.
LUCA
My name is Luca Pirone and this is my fourth year working at the Exchange pool. I am a lifeguard, coach, and swim instructor. Alongside that I am a competitive swimmer for the club team YOTA, I have been swimming for about 10 years and love it so much. I like to spend time relaxing outside, with friends and family and my dogs, and of course, the pool! Next year I will be attending Lafayette College in PA to continue my academic and athletic journey. I am super excited for the summer and can’t wait to meet everyone!
HARPER
Hi! I'm Harper Ludwig and next year I will be a senior at Chapel Hill High School. This is my third summer coaching and lifeguarding at the Exchange, and my second summer doing lessons here. Before the Exchange, I worked coaching and teaching lessons at my neighborhood pool for a few years, and am more than excited to do it at the Exchange again this year! I have been swimming for my whole life so I feel very comfortable in the water and cannot wait to help everyone get to the same point. I love teaching lessons because of how personalized they can be for every kid and because of how quickly you can see growth!
LOUISA
Hi I’m Louisa Sanoff, a rising senior at Chapel Hill High School, and I am super excited to teach private lessons! This is my second year coaching, lifeguarding, and teaching private lessons for the Exchange, and I have loved every minute of it. I have been a part of the YOTA swim team for 10 years and I just cannot get enough of the pool! I love kids and helping them learn the sport I love, or just teaching them the basics. It is good to get one on one time with kids to help them work on specific things one might not get to work on in a bigger group. I would love to be a part of helping them. Please reach out if you have any questions or want to schedule a lesson!
MARION
I'm Marion Geraci, a rising senior at Chapel Hill High School, and I’m so excited to be in the pool having fun and learning together with your child! Swimming is an important life skill, and I believe water safety and fun should always go hand in hand. Whether your child is learning to float, working on their strokes, or just building confidence to get their face wet, I’m thrilled to be part of their journey. Let’s make a splash and grow those skills together!
CARLY
Hi! I'm Carly Brice, and next year I will be a freshman at University of North Carolina Wilmington. This is my third year coaching and lifeguarding at the Exchange, and my first summer doing lessons. I have been a member of the Exchange since I was just three years old, and I've been on the swim team since I was six! The Exchange pool holds a special place in my heart, and I'm incredibly excited for this summer. I look forward to teaching swim lessons this summer and watching each child grow in confidence, skill, and love for the water!
