The Exchange Pool is a co-operative corporation, placing ownership and governance into the hands of the employees or, in our case, patron members of the corporation. This means that The Exchange Pool is nobody's money-making venture. Rather, it's a family pool, run by families for families!
Participation in the governance of the organization is open to all owners of membership certificates in good standing. Each membership may cast one vote at membership meetings. Members may run for positions on the board.
Members can earn refunds of part of their dues by volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include everything from serving on the board to working at the front desk, from gardening to event planning. Tell us your strength, and we might just be able to put you to work!
Members and guests of members are required to follow our pool rules. These are posted at the pool and you may also read them here.
As a member-owned co-operative corporation, our pool operates through the dedicated service of volunteer directors who help ensure our community maintains a safe, enjoyable, and financially sound summer spot for all members. You can contact the board here.
All members are welcome to read the bylaws that govern The Exchange Pool. To read our bylaws click here.
The Exchange Pool is a private, member-owned recreational club. Use of the facility is reserved for members in good standing and their accompanied guests.
